Save Ferris

Although this is very well done, some people just have way too much time on their hands. I just wish I could show this to someone who has not seen the movie and ask them what they think its about.

men at work

You know, I'm not sure if these guys were gay or not (but after watching 'land down under' and especially 'who can it be now' I really think they were/are) but they sure had some great songs (and great music videos too). Its amazing how well you can remember the words to a song when you haven't heard it in like 10+ Years. I did really good on 'land down under' and 'overkill' but only the chorus on 'who can it be now'

I think this one cracks me up the most.

As a side note, this is just one more reason why I LOVE scrubs. I mean, turk, jd AND Colin Hay?! What could be better?

sharp as a tack, or maybe a razor

For those of you who might not yet know, I have decided to go without the beard. I figured the beard had a good run but now its time for something different. For years I have used razors of the disposable variety. Until now. You see, i never found much difference between a disposable razor and a nice, name brand one (just so you know, I don't consider BIC a name brand razor). And that was probably because I had not yet discovered the Gillette Fusion Power Phantom, thats right the phantom. Now for years I have made fun of the ridiculous 5 bladed, "battery operated" razor. I thought it stupid for a few reasons:

One, Gillette only went with the 5 blades because Shick out did the Gillette mack 3 with their 4 bladed razor the quattro.

B. What difference is a 'vibrating' razor going to make? Sounds more like just a faster way to cut your face off.

and fourthly, its just a gimmick to make more money.
(coincidentally I do know I said one, b, and fourthly {which i'm not entirely sure is even a real word} and did so for the purposes of entertainment so please don't correct me)

But that was long before I tired it, and let me tell you, talk about big car comfort! This really is one of the smoothest shaves I ever had, aside from that time when I was about 13 and I shaved off my peach fuzz hoping it would grow back as a massively sweet beard (or at least a nasty stash).

So if you are looking for the perfect gift for fathers day, let me just suggest the Gillette Fusion Power (which comes in the phantom and the phenom (what ever that is). It really is the perfect gift because beside giving an excellently close shave, it can fillet a fish, strip paint off the side of your house, and is one of the few items that defy gravity.

Available at all fine retailers, black markets, pawn shops, and garage sales *warning, we are not responsible for any infections, diseases, loss of limbs or facial feature resulting in the use of this product. Things that freak me out

I was reading a friend's blog the other day and he had made a list of things that freak him out. As I was reading it, it got me thinking about what things freaked me out. So here are a few of my 'fears', some rational and some not.

1. Nursing homes! I don't know exactly what it is but I just can't do nursing homes. I've been in many of them, some nice, some run down, but they all freak me out. One of the worst nightmares I have ever had included a nursing home.

2. Not being able to move my legs! I wouldn't say I am totally claustrophobic but if I am in a confined space and I can't move my legs, i start to freak!

3. Socks with toes!! No thank you!

4. Porcelain dolls, clowns and some animals. Especially when they are in a display case. maybe thats why I have never wanted to see any of the Chucky movies.

Well thats about all for now. If I think of anymore good one, I'll let you know.

Time for something new

So i have been trying to think of something to replace tie tuesdays. I finally decided on something worthy of a weekly post, I would like to introduce 'views from a hammock.' A few weeks ago, i bought a hammock for my birthday and set it up in the backyard. As I have been chilling in the backyard the last few days, I have decided to share my experiences with everyone else and help spread the hammock lifestyle and philosophies. Here are a few pictures from the last few weeks.
